Terms of Use

By downloading or using Warranty Tracker ("the app"), you agree to these terms. Please read them. This page is the End User Licence Agreement for the app.

The app

Warranty Tracker helps you record the things you own, their receipts and warranties, and reminds you before return windows or cover run out. It is a personal organiser — it is not a warranty, insurance, or a guarantee of any claim, refund or repair.

Reminders and guidance are best-effort. Retailer return windows, warranty lengths and claim steps in the app are common examples to help you, not legal or contractual advice. Always confirm the actual terms with the retailer or manufacturer. You are responsible for acting in time.

Your licence

You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use Warranty Tracker on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not rent, resell, redistribute or reverse-engineer it. The app, its design, artwork and content remain the developer's property.

Apple's role

This agreement is between you and the developer of Warranty Tracker only — not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. The developer, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app, for any maintenance and support (Apple has no obligation to provide any), for any product or legal claims relating to it, and for any claim that it infringes someone's intellectual property. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Subscriptions

  • Warranty Tracker Pro is an auto-renewing subscription: £1.99 per month or £19.99 per year (about £1.67 a month). Prices are shown in your local currency at purchase and are set by the App Store for your region.
  • New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. Cancel at least 24 hours before it ends and you are not charged.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription renews automatically at the standard price for the same period.
  • Manage or cancel any time in Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
  • Purchases are handled by Apple. All refunds are at Apple's discretion and are requested through Apple, not us.
  • If a subscription ends, nothing you have already filed is deleted and no feature you were using is switched off retroactively — every item, receipt and reminder stays on your phone, and backup and restore keep working. You simply cannot add items beyond the free limit of 25 until you subscribe again.

Your content

Everything you enter stays on your device and belongs to you. Because we never receive it, you are solely responsible for keeping your own backups (for example, via the app's export and backup features, or your device backup).

Acceptable use

Use the app lawfully and for your own personal record-keeping. Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or misuse it.

Eligibility and legal compliance

You must be old enough to hold an Apple Account in your country to buy a subscription. By using the app you confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting", and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must also comply with any applicable third-party terms when using the app.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss arising from use of the app, including missed deadlines, lost data, or declined claims. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the current version always lives on this page with its date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

Ending this agreement

You can end it at any time by deleting the app (cancel any subscription separately in your Apple Account settings). The licence ends if you breach these terms. Clauses that by their nature should survive — no warranty, limitation of liability, and Apple's role — survive.

If part of this doesn't apply

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still stands. These terms, plus the App Store's own terms, are the whole agreement between us about the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you use the app as a consumer elsewhere, you keep the mandatory consumer rights of your own country — nothing here removes them.
